This is a very special boat owned and operated by a
wonderful family for many years. In October of 2003 we had the good
fortune and pleasure to repower this boat and install many upgrades.
The original engine was an OMC Sea Drive unit. That was removed and
a custom-built motor bracket was installed. We installed the new
Honda BF225 engine on that. At the same time we completely re-did
the steering system adding a new aft station and new hydraulic helms at
the main station (tilt helm) and it the aft (cockpit) station. New
controls were fitting at both stations and new gauges also installed.
There are controls for the main engine and the kicker motor at the aft
helm station. Fuel capacity is 100 gallons in dual 50-gallon tanks.
In June of 2004 we provided a brand-new King Saltwater
triple axle trailer with electrically controlled hydraulic disc brakes.
This trailer is also equipped with heavy duty side load guides and LED
lights, as well as with a spare tire mounted on a spare hub on a carrier.

In the spring of 2005 we added a Honda BFP15 auxiliary
(kicker) motor fully rigged to operate from the aft cockpit helm. A
Raymarine DS-550X digital sounder was also installed at the rear helm
station.
We also installed our custom designed radar arch and a
full suite of new electronics which includes the Raymarine C-80
multifunction display, a RayStar GPS sensor, the DSM digital sounder
module, and a radar scanner. In addition we installed an XM
satellite radio antenna on the arch as well.
The boat features camper canvas for the cockpit. The
forward half can be set up by itself for protection at the rear helm while
fishing, crabbing, shrimping, just cruising, or whatever, and the aft
portion left down out of the way. Or the whole thing can be set up
fully enclosing the aft cockpit for a very large "rec room".
The interior is laid out with a large storage closet,
galley, and helm to starboard; the head compartment and dinette to port.
A v-berth with privacy doors is all the way forward.

Many upgrades over the years of ownership include a new
foredeck hatch, stainless cabin top rails, a center opening forward
window, pressure water system, a deep sink, and all new upholstery.
