This is the same fine boat we've
had available for years but with the ever increasing restrictions on
fishing, crabbing, shrimping, and such we've been asking Arima for a
more multi-purpose layout. Recently Arima was able to develop
new interiors for the Sea Legend 22 more oriented to cruising in
comfort. However, the large flat roomy cockpit was not changed
so the cruising versions still retains all of its "fish-ability"
(and entertainment-ability). Only the interior arrangement was
changed to protect the humans! Even heat is a viable (and
desired) option.
All the original Sea Legend 22
interior arrangements remain but new ones have been added. The
two most exciting versions (at least to us) are the E6 interior with
a dinette to port and a helm seat and galley to starboard (shown
above), and the
E9 with a dinette to port and a helm seat and enclosed head
compartment to starboard. Another option is the E10 interior
which features the galley and a bench seat (runs lengthwise ahead of
the galley and faces inboard) on the port side and the helm and
enclosed head compartment to starboard. All models feature a
full glass Alaskan bulkhead across the aft end of the cabin with a
locking door for an enclosed secure cabin.
Powered with our suggested Honda
BF150 this makes a wonderful cruiser with rough water capability and
plenty of range with the fuel efficient BF150 and the standard
106-gallon fuel tank. The SL22 also carries 14 gallons of
fresh water.

About Us
We are a small (3 to
4 person) shop specializing in boats custom rigged to our customers'
specifications. Each boat is carefully put together one-at-a-time
with much emphasis on quality, ergonomics, functionality and aesthetics.
We are not a high
volume shop churning boats out like candy at Halloween and rigging a
boat to exacting standards takes time. We sincerely love to work
with each and every customer and we take whatever time is necessary to
ensure we're "getting it right". Since there are only 3 of us here
(4 when we can find the right additional person) to get all the work
done we aren't always able to answer the phone. Though your call
is important we're not going to stop working on a boat or working with a
customer in the store to grab the phone. If you leave a message
we'll get back to you as soon as we can. If you can't wait we
understand; in this age of instant gratification it's difficult to
accept there are still businesses doing it the old-fashioned way...with
quality and with care for their customers.
